1. Tomato

Let's start the list with this easiest first. Even though tomatoes are actually fruits, a lot of people still get this wrong thanks to its presence on salads & as a pasta sauce. However, tomato seeds are on the inside, which is a good indicator that tomatoes are really a fruit.

1. Green peas

We agree that looks can be deceiving but being green in colour doesn't automatically make peas veggie. The pods of green peas are actually seeds developed from the flowering plant & hence qualify as fruits.

1. Eggplant

This might pop up as a surprise to many people. Thanks to their tiny, edible seeds, none-the-less, file, eggplants under the fruit category. Furthermore, not only eggplants are really fruits, they are technically classified as a berry.
