With lockdown restrictions slowly being lifted and businesses across the world reopening their services, many people are tempted to toss the home cooking or the take out in favour of returning to restaurant dining. Well, the great news is that there are still ways to keep you as safe as possible while dining out. You are watching NYK. 1) Go during off-peak hours
So when you have already decided to dine out, avoiding eating at peak hours is good idea as it's a relaxing eating experience with limited human contact required through sharing & waiting for tables. Limiting contact with the crowd lessens the chances of spreading the virus!
2) Sanitize your hands before & dining out
Always carry a small bottle of alcoholic hand sanitizer wherever you go. Wash your hands for 20-25 seconds with liquid hand wash and water. Also, don't forget to wear your masks! Sanitize your hands each time after taking off and wearing your masks to stay safe.
3) Sanitize the chair & table before sitting
While restaurants are using high-grade disinfectants & cleaners for sanitizing and cleaning the premises before reopening the doors for the public, it's not a bad idea to be extra cautious about where you sit or place your hands. Sanitize the tables & chairs before you start dining by spraying an alcoholic sanitizer and wiping it with disposal tissue or wet wipes.
4) Carry your own utensils
It doesn't hurt at this point carrying your own utensils If you aren't comfortable using the utensils provided by the restaurant. Clean them immediately with a tissue after eating & do wash them thoroughly when you get home.
